Right, while the kettle's on, let me tell you a tiny little bit about myself...

My name is Mat. I'm a thirty-something English guy with atrocious and failing eyesight who spends a large chunk of his time working as a software engineer and fills up the rest of his time by variously cycling, trying to take agreeable photos, playing the didgeridoo, cooking and eating nice (or at least interesting) food, reading the first third of lots of books (never quite getting round to reading the rest), flying large kites, listening to good music and, lately, painting various bits of house.

One day I'll learn to manage my time properly and then be able to start playing the piano again and learn the saxophone like I've been wanting to do for years.

So, tell me a bit about yourself. And, if you'd be so good, please do have a skim through my photostream and let me know what you think. I'm trying to improve my photographic skills, so constructive criticism will genuinely be gratefully received.
