You can probably guess my name is Matthew Millen, I’m a 28 year old online marketing co-ordinator working for Battery Force and living in the South East of England. Aside from walking and photography my interests include cycling, golf and reading.

My photography background is amateur at the best but I have been walking and hiking for years as part of Venture Scout, Duke of Edinburgh and World Challenge expeditions. Now my time is slightly more limited I have to stick to single day walks but I try to get out as often as possible and enjoy the fantastic scenery England has to offer.

Most of the photographs here where taken with a Samsung Digimax Cyber 530 although any taken since January 2010 are with a much smarter Canon EOS 450D, if the pictures have improved I will leave for you to decide.

My academic background in geography with sections of landscape history means I have a particular focus on ancient monuments while my own nature (as my long suffering walking partner will attest) is to climb to the top of the largest available hill hence lots of landscape shots!
