Thanks for visiting.

After only a year of taking this seriously, I've been published in New York magazine, MLB.com, Jossip.com, Gothamist.com, Curbed.com, the Brooklyn Paper and even Social Rank.

I try to be all about the moment. I shy away from studio lighting and situations.

I have an unusual schedule, the ability and desire to intermingle within different neighborhoods, access to some interesting places (that i don't take for granted), an ironic sense of humor and just a generally inquisitive attitude. I like kangol hats.

My biggest inspirations in photography are/were Allan Tannenbaum, Patrick McMullan, Ron Galella, Dennis Stock, Kathy Voglesong and Bob Gruen, as well as Jesse L. Garrabrant and Nathaniel Butler. Neil Leifer's shot of Muhammad Ali is my favorite sports shot, while Eric Meola's cover shot for Bruce Springsteen's album Born to Run is my single favorite photo of all-time (I refuse to imitate it).

I shoot with a Canon EOS 20D and occassionally a Fujifilm S5100.

Enough about me already. look at the pics. I'd love to see yours too.
