If it isn't yet evident, my name is Matt Strauss and I am a freelance designer and social media consultant located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia. I have my BFA with a graphic design certificate from Shippensburg University, and I am currently enrolled in the Web Design and Development Program at the University of the Arts.

I am a detail oriented creative with experience holding project-based positions at full service advertising agencies and consulting firms. My career path has allowed me to actively pursue diverse creative positions and gain experience in areas of branding, identity development, web and print design, and social media management. These various types of exposure have provided me with a unique perspective of which I incorporate into my creative work and overall lifestyle.

I would consider myself a designer of coherence and fine tuned strategy. If my style would have to be described, I would say the best rendition would be not to label it as minimal, but as fundamental.
