Hey there I've been dabbling with photography since taking a course in it in high school. I made the dslr plunge a year ago due to the influence of my friend chris: www.flickr.com/people/christophparent/

I am amazed at how inclusive photographers have been.

I'm currently in South Korea working at a boarding school. I was initially excited about photographing things here but since have fallen out of love with photography. What needed to be said with photography has been said and now it's just used for advertising. The digital photography world and how photo manipulation is used no longer captures what happened. Really with photography we are creating situations that never were while attempting to pass them up as reality.

I think I'm just getting older and crotchety but that's why I stopped feeling passionate about photography.

Current Gear

--------------------

• Nikon D90

• Nikon D5000 (My partner's camera which I occasionally borrow)

• Hilariously old Vivitar flash

• Nikon 50mm f/1.8D

• Nikon 28-80

• Some shitty nikon zoom

This is glass is terrible minus the 50mm it's okay but I would rather have a 35mm.
