I like nice clean lines, symmetry, colour and finer details. My photography is for me to look at afterwards and say "that's not a bad shot, that", but I love feedback.

I don't think I'm doing anything groundbreaking - I'm just an amateur that uses this to improve my abilities, learn a few tricks, keep hold of some great memories, and maybe turn a few shots into canvases for my wall.

I work to a 1:3 ratio: one photo I can work with, to three that I delete because they're not up to scratch. In terms of quality, it's more 1:9; I'll get lucky now and then, but I'm genuinely happy with one-tenth of my shots being impressive to me.

I'm a writer by trade, photographer by passion, and gamer by wasted time.
