Matthew's photos seem to jump out at me from the clutter whenever I view my contacts photos... but they jump out in a good way. I've always loved the great outdoors, and love watching nature shows on PBS. Matthew's photos look like some of my favorite outdoor places to be, and like screenshots from some of the nature shows on TV. Colorful landscapes, beautiful bodies of water, and wildlife are everywhere in his photos. It's hard not to feel like you are right there with him when browsing through his work. More important than Matthew's photos is the person himself. He always has a kind word to say, and seems very down to earth. There just aren't enough people around like that these days. I've known Matthew as a friend for a while on Flickr, but never have had the pleasure of meeting the man in real life. Something tells me he would make on heck of a good friend in life.

Every new hobby Matthew takes on, he learns as much as he can about to get the most from it. This is the same with his photography and it shows!
