I'm a cook in the United States Navy. I've been in for 9 years. I'm married with a daughter and two dogs. I live in Chesapeake, VA. I bought my wife a Nikon D40 for her birthday 2 years ago, while we were living in Japan, and have been taking pictures ever since. I ended up using it almost more than her and have grown to love walking around just me and my camera. Now I finally have a camera of my own a Pentax K7 and I love it. I take it with me everywhere and am enjoying learning my craft.
