It's always great to see Matt's photos, particularly his self portraits as he shares something of himself ... they show a fun, happy person with a lovely family and a zest for life ... they always make me smile. It's great to see how Matt picks up an idea and runs with it: his self-portraits convey a great sense of humour; his night and street photography captures the feel of a place; and his landscapes show great promise. Matt is definitely one to watch in 2008.

Fun, cheeky, capturing the moment..you really get a feel for 'the life of Matt' when he takes pictures. His self portraits especially really tell a story. Thats a wonderful gift to be able to have and to convey when jumping behind the lens, and he has it in spades.
