Started out as a musician for Disneyland, then became an audio engineer there - responsible for all the shows and any special event audio. Came to photography as a way to differentiate my home life from work life some years ago and after trying lots of pro DSLR's and SLR's, I find myself borrowing alot of cameras. My computer of choice is the PowerMac G5 computer. I have some AlienBees monolights which I use for most of my portraits, but I've been working on my Strobist techniques as of late (since my lighting is mostly off-camera, it doesn't matter who's flashes I use).

 

After owning all kinds of cameras, from Nikon FM's to F5's, then to D1x's, I did a stint with Canons EOS-1Ds and 20D machines, and even dabbled with a Leica M2 and 4x5 view cameras. Nowadays I carry two Canon EOS-1D bodies and two lenses: the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 and a Tokina 20-35/2.8 zoom. I'm not so concerned about megapixels, but I really like seeing 100% of the viewfinder and I like my autofocus to bang into place rather quickly, and the pro stuff gets close enough to that. Mostly all of my portraits were done with some kind of 50mm lens over the years . I love 'em!

 

I'm at that age now where I've 'discovered' that the camera doesn't matter...
