Hi. My name is Matt or Matthew. (I like Matt better.) I was born and raised in a small town in the mountains of Colorado called Fairplay. A.K.A, South Park!

I have been into photography for years. It is the most important thing in the world to me. When I graduate from college, my goal is to be an internationally acclaimed nature photographer and travel around the world taking pictures. I would become a freelance photographer and publish my own books on photography.

I am a true nature photographer, but I also photograph sports photography for fun! My dream is to go to the Sahara Desert!

I have a lot of idols in nature photography and photography in general. Such as Ansel Adams, Eliot Porter, Robert Frank, Tom Till, Joseph K. Lange, David Muench, David Clack, Mike David and my favorite, Art Wolfe! Even my cousin Danny is an idol to me!

I use a Nikon D40, 18-55 mm, 55-200 mm, polarizer filter and an ultraviolet filter. I also have a Targus monopod and a tripod.
