My bio used to say, “Living in North Norfolk and having two businesses in Norwich and Holt, doing some product photography and website administration, not to mention taking care of a small person and a dog doesn't leave a lot of time for photography but makes you grateful when you can get out there.”

That was in 2010, twelve or so years later, it should read, “Living in North Norfolk and marketing for a prestigious property development company leaves almost no time for photography but makes you grateful if you can snatch the odd snap.”

Half the pleasure for me is post-processing and I spend a fair bit of time on putting each image through my large, unwieldy and labour-intensive processing mangle. I once was obsessed by street photography and love the thrill, danger and discipline of it. The downside is that, to do it properly and immerse yourself in the groups takes time and that's one luxury I don't have.

Photography is my outlet to be creative and I find it really inspiring when you see how amazing the rest of the Flickrverse can be. What a joy to discover someone's photo stream and be inspired, entertained, impressed and spurred on to contribute too.
