I always loved carrying around a camera and taking pictures, starting with those skinny 110 film cameras when I was 7 or 8 years old. I eventually graduated to a plastic, fully manual 35mm camera when I was around 12 years old. Then in High School my grandfather gave me all of his B&W darkroom equipment so I bought a Nikon FM10 and took a class on processing B&W film and prints. I eventually upgraded to a Nikon F100 and spent the next 20ish years shooting a combination of B&W and Color negative film and the very occasional role of slide film. Then in 2005 I made the switch to shooting mostly digital due to the convenience and lack of time to spend in the darkroom. All of that as a long winded way of saying that I love photography, have studied photography, and still am basically an advanced amateur playing around...
