Why I joined Flickr: My main objective is to share photos with family and friends overseas in the most convenient way.
Overview: It made me hesitant at first; I thought "PRO" was meant for professional photographers only. I’m just an enthusiast! However, after leafing with my "mouse" through the members’ pages, my attitude towards photography changed. Their photos are so inspiring and make me want to learn more and produce some hopefully.
My cameras: A compact digital Olympus M720 SW and a Nikon D90 with VR 18-200mm lens. I aspired for a CANON EOS 5D Mk II, but it’s far above my budget + too much too soon for me, as a beginner. Familiarity on same brand smoothens learning process. However, painful though to change to a Nikon I must, to broaden my photography to the next level.
I’m willing to do the hard work as well as focus on knowing the concepts of photography.
Wish I could have these: The right camera & lenses, skill & experience, inspiration, the knob to control the whim of mother nature & to be young again.
