Many times, Mathew has touched me. No dear reader, not by his hands (for they would have to be quite large to reach me here in Manchester), but by his truly meaningful, unique and atmospheric photographs and art. I can't say I know him at all - but I find his work to be on the fringes of melancholy. And this is not to say they are dark or sorrowful - because that isn't the case. I love melancholy - we need this to counterbalance and understand joy and pleasure. Thank you for sharing your world Mathew - I feel at home in it.
