The images here are a culmination of about 30 years of photography beginning in the film era and continuing today. Though I do many types of photography, this photostream is dedicated to my work on human imagery. I've mixed more recent work with things done in my earlier years and everything in between. In some cases I like the cleaner look of film and yet, I'm always tempted to add digital elements to those more "classicly" styled images. Many of the pieces here are composites of older and newer works just re-purposed and re-imagined. As you can probably see I have a preference for monochrome/B&W but color definitely has a place with me. I've always said that "Color traps you in reality while B&W sets you free from it " but these days, that's become fare less true than it was in the past. I love what can be done with images in the digital age but, honestly, I think many folks take it too far for my tastes. I'm always looking at my images as well as those of others and re-evaluating the way I want my work to look. Don't be surprised if you have a favorite image and the next time you visit it looks different :-)

Though I believe the purity of photography has been mostly lost I am so excited and intrigued by the abilities of today's software, mindset and imagination. I see people half my age doing things I could never have imagined. This, to me is very, very exciting. I hope you like my images and I look forward to adding more and more as often as possible :-)
