Nasce a Massa Marittima nel 1959 dove vive attualmente.
Appassionato da sempre di fotografia, dalle prime esperienze giovanili con macchine analogiche a pellicola e dalla pratica di sviluppo e stampa in camera oscura, approda alla fotografia digitale. Dal 2005 fa parte del Gruppo Fotografico Massa Marittima BFI e attualmente ricopre la carica di segretario. E’ iscritto alla FIAF dal 2006. Partecipa a concorsi fotografici nazionali e internazionali. Tiene corsi di fotografia. Le sue fotografie sono state esposte in mostre fotografiche a Massa Marittima,Follonica,Piombino,Gerfalco. Nell’ambito di concorsi fotografici a Roma,Palermo,Brindisi,Figline Valdarno,San Vincenzo,Livorno,Morciano di Romagna,Dalmine,Sanremo,Guardiagrele,Suvereto,Bibbiena. Ha partecipato come autore alla manifestazione ARTESTATE 2009 a Follonica. Una selezione di fotografie vincitrici del concorso fotografico 1° concorso Fotografico "Dal mare alle città d'arte" di Suvereto è stata esposta a New York durante la manifestazione del Columbus Day 2008. Molte fotografie sono state pubblicate in rete su siti e blog. Fotografo specializzato nella fotografia di paesaggio e nella macrofotografia non disdegna anche altri generi come il ritratto ed i Portfoli Fotografici.
Da aprile 2012 fa parte della giuria del concorso
