I am a middle school technology teacher who has an appreciation for nature, beauty, and things-not-technical. I'm not much of a photographer, but I still enjoy taking interesting pictures.

Flickr has begun to take a place in my teaching as it is a wonderful resource for students as they make digital stories and other multimedia projects.

My pet-peeve with Flickrians is when they don't carefully (and appropriately) label and rate their pictures because I have explain to parents how it is that their children have seen inappropriate pictures at school. Please rate your pictures accurately so schools can continue to use the great pictures on Flickr.
