I'm currently among the minion of unemployed with expired unemployment benefits. I have six years' higher education (most recent grad date 2001) and am 60+. I welcome all ideas and suggestions. Project, freelance, part time or full time.

My photos are a record of everyday life; moments and scenes that might otherwise pass unseen--the way a shadow falls, the patterns on a duck's back, grafitti, street art, buskers...anything that catches my eye. I carry a small point and shoot camera wherever I go. The photos here on flickr are the only copies that exist, for the most part, so they, like the images captured, are fleeting. There are between 100 and 700 or more views a day on my photo stream. Nearly all are strangers--a fact that never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for that connection.

I take most of my pictures in public places--walks, at markets, festivals, fairs, or wherever I happen to be. If you see a photo of yourself here and would prefer not to, let me know and I'll remove it or try to crop you out. Also, feel free to add tags or info about your photo in the comments.

All street buskers and street artists are exempt from this request--you've given more joy than I could ever repay. Most of all, you've not only stayed true to your dreams, you've shared them freely...knowing that is worth more than gold.
