My name is Mary, I am an italian girl living in London,

I fell in love with photography 7 years ago on a trip to Paris.

I started taking some picture with a nokia, just for fun.

When I returned home and uploaded them on the internet , a lot of people told me how good they were.

I then bought my first camera,a nikon d60 but I did not have enough money for a photography course, I did not know how to improve and after a year I quit..

I thought I was not good enough.

I tried to shoot just with my mobile phone, I tried to convince myself it was enough for me.

But then I realize..

Photography is what makes me feel alive and I can't stay one day without taking a picture.

Sometimes I don't understand if it's a passion or an obsession for me.

What I know is that if I would be given the opportunity to travel around the world taking photos..I would be the happiest person in the world!!

So here I am, 7 years later.

I live in London and I work as receptionist in a 5 star hotel.

In August 2016 iI bought a new camera, a nikon 5500 that comes with me wherever I go.

I still do not have enough money for a photography course but you will find me, in my days off, in some library around London reading about iso,shutter speed ecc ecc.. but mostly of all...portrait and street photography.

If you have any advice please write to me.

Even the smallest advice would mean a lot to me.
