Bohemian style & a passion for vintage are the common threads running through all of the handmade bags & headbands created by me, Mary Jane Hunter. A jeweler by trade, I was able to translate my formal design training from The Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC, and years of designing for others, into my love of all things hippy, creating items that I wanted but was unable to find in the marketplace. I use mainly vintage fabrics,leathers, & hardware. The unique designs & quality that vintage provides add to the funky style of all my accessories. The use of vintage also creates less impact on the environment, which is important to me. I sell my things both on line (www.bymaryjane.com) & in stores. While each piece is usually unique, I have created cohesive groups for wholesale lines. I am a mom to Arbor Grace, & have an amazing partner in crime, Robert.
