Exquisite SOOC shots, gorgeous flowers and drops, and front pages galore!!! But more than that, you have been not only a constant presence on my stream, but you have been "watching out for me" on the other side of the world! Always letting me know when I have been in explore, and forever capturing the screen shots for me! Mary was one of the 1st people on Flickr to make contact with me and what a sweetie she has been ever since. I would have been lost if not for her guidance and direction on all of the intricacies of navigating the technical waters of Flickr. I know I must have bothered her on many occasions when she was occupied with the many tasks of a group administrator but she never let me think that she was too important or too busy to lend a hand or an ear of support for all of my many questions. In addition to being an exceptional photographer, Mary is also passionate about her garden and growing gorgeous flowers, trees and plants to use as subjects for her exquisite work as one of Flickr’s premier macro photographers. She loves to get up close and personal with her flower shots and just like herself, she is most proud when she is able to post SOOC….that’s because Mary is made of the same fabric….what you see is what you get…she puts on no airs, no phony lines….straight up…stand up…honest, classic and wonderful….All the Best...! Mary was one of my first contacts on Flickr and it was (still is!) a joy to see her colourful photos appearing in my Contacts' thumbnails every day.... and of course because a lot of her photos are macro shots it is a nice process to click on a tiny image to see it transformed into a large image of something which is in fact quite tiny! Her talent in seeing the beautiful and inspirational every day on her way to work, in her lunch time, in the council gardens (LOL), really did encourage me to investigate and better observe the world around me. Nonostante la conosca solo virtualmente, ritengo che Mary sia una persona adorabile ed un'ottima fotografa. Il suo photostream si può definire in un solo modo: un esplosione di colori. Mary si sposta leggera di fiore in fiore, ne cattura forme e colori e li racchiude in uno scatto così perfetto che, osservandolo, sembra di cogliere la freschezza ed il profumo delle corolle. Ho parlato in particolare dei fiori perchè sono la sua specialità, ma la fotografia di Mary si sviluppa anche verso altri soggetti, altrettanto degni di considerazione.
