Riv would be the first person I'd visit if ever the Springfield Donut were to go missing. I hope someone steals it soon, so I have an excuse to visit. Honest!
I first met Riv up a mountain. I'd fallen off a cliff and was stranded on a ledge. He abseiled down to rescue me, gave me a chunk of Kendal mintcake to nibble on and hoiked me up with a deft flick of his crampon. Better than a St Bernard's, this bloke. More drool too. Shhweet.

In order for me to write this testimonial I practically had to beg flickr, beg Riv to make me a contact, then flip around until I found the option to write this damn thing. Getting to know Riv, you'll soon see his appreciation for beer, which I can't really appreciate because I don't drink, so moving on... Riv is quite giving with his thoughts as well as his imagery, and for once here is a flickrite that isn't afraid of bouncing back and forth from film and digital. there isn't enough of that. I actually haven't been through all of his photos, but I bet if I were to, I'd see some really awesome stuff.
