Marti and I haven't known each other long. In fact we have only just met here on flickr and already she has touched my heart with her wonderful work. Marti's talent seems to touch your very soul. With Marti's love for the animal kingdom, especially cats, through her ill health, I strongly believe Marti has been given a great gift to share with others, to enhance our pets to make people happy and comfort them and also heal herself through her enjoyment of this work. Not only is this talent wonderful to look at, but you can feel the emotion coming through her work. I'd like to take this oppertunity to thank Marti for the wonderful work she did on my cat Charlie who passed away Christmas 2010. Marti captured Charlie's nature and love perfectly and it is a wonderful picture i will treasure forever to remember him by and help with my grieving.
