Worked as a props maker & scenic artist in theatre (for quite a while) then decided I wanted more control so went to University (as mature student) to study theatre design, worked for a brief time as a theatre designer and then ended up in arts journalism for a few years.

My photography is predominately film photography. I learnt to develop and print my own images at university and am glad to have gotten back into it after having been disillusioned by digital ever since I bought my first digital camera in 2001
