United States Senator Martin Heinrich is a fighter for New Mexico’s middle class families and a champion for his state’s burgeoning clean energy economy. In the initial weeks following his successful senatatorial campaign, Senator Heinrich was selected to serve on the enegery, joint economic and intelligence committies. Senator Heinrich also served as a U.S. House Represenetative for New Mexico's First Congressional District from 2009-2012. He lives with his wife, Julie, and sons, Carter and Micha, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
