Born in 1959 in the beautiful city of Haarlem (NL). Learned all about full manual shooting from my father, who later switched to Super8 movies. He gave me his camera (still in my living room) which was later replaced by a manual SLR with 28, 50 and 135mm lenses. Got my first automatic Minolta with AF in 1991 and stayed on that platform (later with digital Sony-bodies) till everything was stolen in 2015.

Now the proud owner of an OM-1 (as successor of a Olympus OM-D E-M1) with those superb Pro-zoomlenses and working hard to get more out of the equipment with Photoshop and the inspiring comments of others. As hiking is my other hobby, I own a Olympus ONM-D E-M10 mk IV too as low weight gear in a special LowePro backpack.

As you can see in my Photostream, I don't go for one issue only. I love various subjects and themes, with a growing interest in architecture, urban exploring and industry.
