Marshall Public Library was founded in 1916 and has a proud history of serving our community. We are honored to be the go-to place for resources for the history of our community including a robust genealogy collection, thousands of historic photographs, and a one-of-a-kind oral history collection. Many of our collections can be found on the Illinois Digital Archive at idaillinois.org
This collection is a work in progress.
Photo titles, details, and dates will be updated as staff time allows.

Rights Statement
This institution joined the Flickr Commons in 2024 in order to encourage public access, use, description, and sharing of our image collections.
Our images within The Commons have no known copyright restrictions. This means that this institution is not aware of any current copyright restrictions on the images, usually because our institution owns the copyright, the term of copyright may have expired without being renewed, or because no evidence has been found that copyright restrictions apply.
[When reusing the images, we appreciate that you give us as the original source and link back to the Flickr Commons to help spread the word of this treasure trove of historical images and to encourage their reuse.]
[The user of the images must understand that the institution cannot guarantee that your private use of the images on The Commons will not violate the rights of unidentified copyright holders, and the institution cannot be responsible for any liability resulting from your use of these images.]
[If you have specific information regarding the copyright of images posted by the institution, please contact us at jpoorman@marshallplib.com.]
