I am a geophysicist, instrument builder, climber, and amateur photographer. My favorite tools are IDL, resonance ionization, Arcteryx pack, and my Canon 5D. I enjoy using the 5D with a 24-105, a 100-400, and my favorite, the 85mm f1.2, a totally awesome portrait lens.
