I am a native and lifelong resident of Florida. I share a home with my wonderful husband and our cat. Unfortunately, my parents are no longer with us, but I am fortunate to have my brother and my sister and their families close by. I'm also lucky to have a lot of wonderful friends who are just like family.

I am retired, having survived 34 years in public education working at different times as a Learning Resource Specialist, a middle and high school history and Spanish teacher, Tech Prep Coordinator, and district coach.

Teaching remains one of my primary passions with learning following as a close second. Many years ago, I decided to learn how to really use my digital camera, rather than simply relying on the programmed settings. Little did I know that an introductory three-hour overview course at Crealde School of Art would help me discover a passion for photographic techniques and artistic expression. This site is part of my pursuit of this passion. My postings are sporadic since daily life often gets in the way, even in retirement, but I hope to become more active this year. I hope that you enjoy my photographs.
