Fitting because I used to have a Marvin the martian icon as my avatar for FlickR. Over the years, M&M got to know me. Him & NSA (Who can SUCK IT!!!) knows me well. Unlike NSA, Marks has common sense to know the mindset of people. It shows with his portraits. Not using K.I.S.S., but a short testimonial won't do justice to M&M. I hate Mark&Manna. Well, not Manna. Just Mark. I hate his photos, everyone of his witty posts. All of times he has reached out to be an all around great guy to the cool kids on flickr. Basically everything about Mark makes me want to vomit. If Mark were to vomit, it would probably be something amazing, like when a unicorn craps out rainbows (yeah, that's where they come from). Mark is responsible for so many horrible things in this world. Baby seal clubbings? totally his idea. Those sad infomercials about starving kids that Sally Struthers used to do? Mark refused to let those kids eat. Remember the Kony thing that everyone was all upset about and now noone seems to remember? Yeah, me either, but I bet Mark was in on that. Dont look at his photos, unless you like having awesome thrown at your eyeballs like a Randy Johnson fastball. It hurts to get hit by one of those. And if you get a print from Mark, it will probably give you a papercut. But yeah, he's pretty cool, and I am glad to continue to get to know Mark.

My friend Mark is a rare individual in that he Really is as nice as he seems on the interwebz. I have watched him grow not only as a fine photographer but as a father figure in more than a few groups as well as @ home.He was one of the first persons I got to know through Flickr 6 years ago and remains a true friend to this day. We all adore his family and held our breaths while Manna got her papers to come to the U.S., We have watched Ho Ming Grow up and I am proud to say that Mark and his family have come to mean so much, to so many.Thanks Mark for being who you are, a great friend and fellow photographer.

He is as human as a human being can be. He's kind hearted and always willing to give advice if needed. In short, Mark is the main pillar of TBG. I've grown to know and trust Mark in the coming up on two years I've known him. He has been a mentor, savior, life-line, and above all a true friend. It's my honor to know him. He is always non-judgmental and his wisdom is often astounding. He is also a very funny chap and a very talented photographer. In a world that is all too often full of B.S. and shallow people he will surprise you with his candor and ability to never give up.
