So, at first look Mark's photography might be seen as "snapshots" - this is not the case. I have enjoyed looking through his various sets shot in and around Los Angeles - one of the US's most photogenic AND photographed cities - and find them to be a amazing and artistic captures of day to day life in L.A. Mark tries - and succeeds - to get past the everyday by shooting specific moments in time - capturing both the essence and energy of this vibrant city in a way that I have yet to see anywhere on flickr. His photography is just one more reason I want to call LA home.
