I love music. I was born and raised to enjoy music that warms the heart and soothes the soul. I sing and I used to see myself singing in front of a large crowd, with a guitar in my hands. Problem is, I never had learned to strum the strings. Not yet. Maybe one day. So help me God. I look up to Babyface, Beyonce and Christina Aguilera, with the kind of music that they create. I can only hear them sing from their hearts. No kind of experience can be matched with listening to their voices.
I love to eat. I appreciate everything and I have a tendency to eat a lot. Chinese food is on top of my list. But generally, I like dishes that are tasty, saucy and soft-textured. I don’t fear chili sauces and spices. The spicier, the better. My secret anti-spice ingredient, every time I have had more than enough, is a menthol candy. Believe me. It works!
My favorite novel is called The Time Traveler’s Wife. At first, I thought it was a Sci-Fi book, and I almost dropped reading it, but I gave its first few pages a shot, and after two months of tear-jerking and hide-under-the-blanket-while-reading-the-book episodes of my life, the book had already shaped my consciousness about love. Love is beyond time and space. Love is for always. And love is everywhere.
I dream of building my house on top of a hill near a calm lake. I’d like to see myself being with the person I love, lying on top of the grassy field and just staring at the starry sky, with the moon’s reflection shining magnificently on the face of the lake. Being reduced to love while surrendering yourself to the beauty of the nature around you is the greatest feeling that one can feel, in this lifetime.
I see life as God’s most beautiful gift to us. And I truly admire every person I meet who have so much zest for it, as well as positivism, energy and love. A lifetime is not enough to experience all the happiness that simply “living” can offer. That’s why I strive hard not to spend a single millisecond worrying or thinking negatively.
MJ is right. The world is heavenly and we are one. Only if we will start believing this, that this can be true. Being, rather than doing, can be the greatest expression of our desire. By being peace, rather than striving hard to bring peace, is the better way to start.
By the way, my name is Mark. What's yours? :D
