Ever since my Uncle Burt lent me an old Kodak on a day trip to Filey, ( summer of '77 I think ) I've been fascinated with photography.

In the late 80's 90ís I studied Fine art at Jacob Kramer collage of art in Leeds and then Brighton University. But not until the digital revolution did I become truly obsessed with photography, and two years after getting my hands on a digital SLR camera, and some 20'000 shots later, I feel like I'm getting the hang of it.

I consider myself an image maker rather than a photographer, and any notion of "true" photography is of no interest.

Digital photography and processing gives me something close to painting without all the mess. Using combinations of techniques and tools such as HDR, tonemapping, long exposures and Photoshop, I hope to capture and create an emotional response to place and time not just a mechanical technical blink.

If this all sounds like a loada toss, it might be ;) I just felt I should try and put somethin here.
