Originally from Manchster, England but I'm currently living about 30 minutes North of Tokyo, Japan. I have been interested in photography for a number of years but it wasn't until a good friend bought a Canon 5D that I realized I just had to get myself an SLR. A few months later I was the proud owner of a Canon 30D.

The 30D was superseded by the 5Dmk2 in May 09. I also shoot film with a Medium format Mamiya 645 an old Canon SLR , the Voigtlander Bessa R2A and the Rolleicord VB. I develop my own B&W films but have neither the skill or inclination to develop colour. I continue to shoot in digital but much prefer to shoot B&W.
