Mark has an incredible amount of talent for a young photographer. He presents his hometown of Sydney in a glorious manner. From his city scenes to sweeping landscapes and also his great portraits - he can do it all brilliantly (especially his dawn/dusk seascapes).

I've been wanting to do this for forever! Mark's photos are simply incredible. They have this je ne sais quoi about them - mystery - to go deeper than just what the eye is seeing. Breathtaking views and gorgeous compositions. I could sit and stare at them for hours on end. Keep clicking Mark!
Mark was one of my first contact on Flickr because I directly saw his talent! It is always a pleasure to see his photos and when I see them, I often say "wow...", really a pleasure! I'm new in photography and I hope one day I will be able to make some shot like those of Mark :)
I really enjoy looking at Mark's images. Some of them grab me and won't let go. Mark can see the world and even better is able to pass that vision to the rest of us. I will return to his photostream often to renew the inspiration he gives.

Read lessI know Mark through Flickr, on 14th May 2007 (Well just checked the flickr mail :p). After I checked his photos I was like "wow...I never thought it can be looked in that way..." His photos are truly amazing, nice composition, fabulous colors...well ya all know about it and it's hard to put in words...
it's incredibly rare that I find someone's photo stream that is so solid. usually it's great shots mixed with snapshots. He's managed to capture nature shots and city-scapes like no other. amazing range of colours across all of his work. Like most people I am incredibly impressed by Mark's work. Mark's landscapes have inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and try my own. I feel like I'm getting free lessons every time Mark posts a new photo.
Mark is definitely one of my favorite contacts. It's always a pleasure seeing his latest creation. Some photos make a statement, while others could easily be used to sell as a poster. Mark has the ability to do both and I think that's a special gift. I'm a fan!
Mark Owen just has it. By 'it', I mean an apparent natural talent. His photos are among the best I've ever seen, overflowing with creativity and a very interesting perspective on common subjects that are often overlooked.
