Early years were spent in Gravesend, Kent - firstly 100 yards from the railway bridge over looking the station and then a house on the Overcliffe that looked out over the Thames to Tilbury. A walk into town necessitated walking past the Maidstone & District bus station. No wonder I developed an early interest in transport.
I've always had a camera around since I was given a Brownie 127 back in 1967 when I was 12. Although I have progressed since then, dubious choices in film stock and cameras means that over the years the results have been inconsistent. That's why I am a strong supporter of digital photography! Shifting interests over the years has also added to the inconsistency.
Moved to SE London in 1964, then Sutton in 1971. emigrated to Adelaide, Australia in 1984 and been here ever since.
