I am an amateur photographer who loves taking pictures as my main hobby, especially if it's combined with my love of travel. I like taking pictures of anything and everything like nature, macro/closeups, impromptu people shots, unusual signs, buildings, etc. I like to push myself to try new techniques or shooting challenges or pick a theme and then I go out looking for those shots to take. I post-process my photos mainly to make minor corrections (cropping, exposure, color balance, etc), but not to "photoshop" out objects or make material changes to the images.

My main camera is a Nikon D7000 with the 18-200mm kit zoom and a Nikkor 40mm Micro prime. I also love using my Sony DSC-HX20V travel zoom which fits much better in my pocket. In the water or in dusty/sandy areas, it's fun to use my Canon Powershot D10. Finally, when all else fails, I have no problem using my iPhone 4s.

In addition to English, I also speak Spanish and more or less understand Portuguese and I love all languages, so don't be afraid to comment on my pictures in your preferred language.

Además del inglés, también hablo español y entiendo más o menos el portugués y me gustan todos los idiomas, así que no tengan miedo de hacerme comentarios en su idioma predilecto.
