I am a photo artist - phartist - not a trained photographer. But I'm slowly learning how to be a better photographer, and more about lenses, lighting and what-not. I used to be primarily focused on nature and my art (illuminOptix), but life in Flickr-land has opened my eyes to a much larger world of possibilities; everything and anything offers potential these days. Thanks to Flickrians who produce so many inspiring images! As to subjects: I love to travel and hike, but also enjoy reading, gardening, writing, improv-piano, my dog, wife, and adult son and daughter... cooking and a variety of Bohemian pursuits, not necessarily in that order.
