I appreciate you visiting my profile and photostream. Who am I?

My name is Mariusz Nawrocki. I live with my family in Poland, in the beautiful city of Gdynia on the Baltic coast. I am an amateur photographer and an enthusiast of digital image processing methods. I like to experiment and use different techniques. I am fascinated by the photography of Japanese artists of the post-war period. Black and white, intuitively made frames, often out of focus, overexposed, distorted, that's what I like.

Sometimes I paint. The theme is usually abstract elements combined with human figures. I often use these works for digitization, and as such I process them to create new pieces.

I love to browse the work of so many talented people on Flickr - I arrange the works that particularly fascinated me into a specific, intentional sequence of photos available in the gallery.
