I truly believe that a photograph should please, shock, stun, astonish, create awe, enlight, rock or even disgust, however, it should never leave one indifferent. My camera is an extension of my fingers which are an extension of my mind.

What a delight to visit Jean-Paul's photo stream! His range of interests is what captivates me - from breathtaking landscapes, to an image of a single flower, lifestyles, wildlife, the sea... the list goes on. While browsing his photos, it occurs to me that I've just experience a subtle tutorial on what makes a great image with his brilliant use of composition, light, and clarity. Jean-Paul I thought it was time I wrote some good stuff on your profile page. We started flickr almost the same time and right from the start and still he has shown support and genuine thoughtful comments which I look forward to. His images delight the eye and soul. A wide spectrum of images from incredible macro flowers… a magical Tolken like boardwalk to an amazing ocean sunset. So wonderful to see his world and perspective. Not only has he shared his views of life and beauty in eastern Canada but closer to his home and heart. I consider him a friend in the world of beauty and caring souls.
