Lucy's stream is consistently one of the most rewarding and enriching on flickr. Her technical and artistic prowess are inherent in her work, and in this respect her photos often lead me to scratch my head and puzzle, "how did she do that?" However, as much as I respect, admire and (dare I say it) envy Lucy's obvious talent in these regards, they are not the reasons why I look forward immensely to the next installment in her intriguing stream. No, the reason for that is the pure cerebral pleasure of her photography. This transcends equipment, or method, or art and connects with something much more profound. For me Lucy's photos reach out to my desire to see, and to know, and to understand. They are both ambiguous and stunningly obvious in their content and meaning, and they always leave me wanting more. Always.
