I graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art in painting, and I'm currently pursuing my doctorate in archaeology at Texas A&M University.

In my artwork, I use found objects and images to create small-scale 3D assemblage sculptures and painting/drawings that are constructed similarly to collage. I attempt to capture in my work an almost infinite number of contradictions so that, amongst other things, the objects/images appear both plausible and implausible simultaneously.

My oil paintings are a bit more straight-forward plein air paintings, with a heavy focus on observable color. In my photography, I have a similar interest in color and texture. Of course, a lot of my photographs are just snapshots!
