Hello there! I'm Mariko (that's my pseudonym). Monster High dolls, photography and photoshop help me express myself creatively. I really appreciate every little comment and favourite ★ that you give me; they really encourage me to keep sharing this little hobby of mine here on Flickr. Don't be shy to start a conversation. I mostly take pictures with my sister Susie.

We got our pseudonyms, Mariko&Susie, from our favourite childhood dolls.

They're from the 1999 Barbie Generation Girl line:

(The dolls were also known as Mari and Tori in the US.)

A little history;

The first photos we uploaded here were taken with our little Point & Shoot, the Canon Digital IXUS 85 IS:

Now we have our first DSLR, the Canon EOS REBEL T3i/600D with a 50 mm lens:

We mainly collect Monster High and Ever After High right now but we have other dolls and toys/figurines too...
