I am a retired business teacher with a keen interest in art.

Have been a watercolour artist for a number of years and and now painting in oil and am experimenting in other media.

Started photography by being the 'family photographer' but it is increasingly taking up more and more of my time. I am grateful to Flickr for giving me the opportunity to see some wonderful photos from so many talented people. My involvement with Flickr has greatly helped me in taking better photos and to have a sharper eye.

Interested in capturing the rich tapestry of life - the drama of landscapes, clouds and portraying people in their own environment. I often search for patterns in unexpected places.
