I am 30 years old, and after buying a DSLR camera on a whim a few years ago, I have found passion in the subject of photography. My background and education (BA + MA degrees) is in Architecture, but I am completely self-taught in photography. I began to seriously focus on photography since August 2011, and have since won:

- 1st Place in Connect 4 Climate/ World Bank competition - exhibited at COP17 in Durban, South Africa (Dec. 2011)

- 1st Place in the TNT Magazine Photo of the Year competition - photo used on the cover of TNT magazine (UK) (March 2012)

- 'Editors Choice' for Week 5 of the National Geographic Traveler Photography Competition (June 2012)

- Editors Choice and and Grand Prize winner of the British Airways High Life Travel Photo competition - trip to N. America to go on location photoshoot and photo in BA High Life inflight magazine for month of October (October 2012)

I am now based in Afghanistan, after working in the UK, Kenya, Bangladesh and India.
