I began my digital photography journey by creating photographic images and concepts for a skincare and cosmetics company's web site some years ago. I produced high resolution digital photographs of various beauty products that were also used towards a variety of collateral needs. When necessary, I retouched both my own images and others provided to me. Subsequently, I extended my digital photography to nature scenes and subjects, and later to live event photography.

 

I have photographed an innumerable amount of live shows, festivals, and events. I have also captured numerous varieties of flora and nature scenes, focusing on the unique, the strange, or the bizarre. I have an excellent eye for color, composition and detail that reveals itself in my photography. I have a special talent for capturing the essence of an artist (or living thing) on the digital canvas. I approach my subject as a painter approaches his/her picture – the camera’s digital capture starts as an empty canvas open to experimentation and interpretation. My results are remarkably uncanny, and each interpretation is unique to the individual situation and personality.

 

I love to tell stories, especially through photojournalism. I always approach my photography (and video) with a story or "concept" in mind. Photography is a special medium. It can capture those moments that are lost in video or the moving image. I like to bring the 24fps framework into my photography, thereby often photographing my stories in 24fps "mode".

 

I am continuously adding more amazing shots of miscellaneous flora here that would be appropriate for editorial use, prints, or the beauty industry. I will also be adding more nature photos as well as images appropriate for editorial use. You can purchase prints or products, or license my images through my photoshelter website.

 

I offer audio, graphics, photo, and video services, but I also offer written content, digital media, and social media as part of my packages. Now I'm also introducing DMAM into the mix.
