Recently I have completed some research into my Genealogy. A couple of years before my father died in 1983 he mentioned the fact that he knew absolutely nothing about his mother's family! What a shame he did not know anything about his long-lost relatives from Quarry Bank, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England! On the 18 November 2017 (my youngest daughter's birthday - Desiree) I discovered that my father had a half-sister who lived in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, UK. Her name was Kathleen Mary Munn and she was born in 1907. On the 1911 census, Kathleen was living with Abigail (her father's sister) and Arthur Creswell. On the 1939 UK Register Kathleen was still living with Abigail and Arthur Creswell and she was working as a Wages Clerk. She got married in Stoke, Staffordshire, UK to Donald Dodson at the age of 35 years old. She died in 1982 and my father died in 1983 - not knowing that he had a half-sister who lived in the UK.
