(This is late. I'm sorry!) Marion, marion.. You truly show yourself in your photographs. You let out all of your emotions into every single picture you capture. If someone only looked at your pictures, they could tell exactly the kind of person you are... kinda like this photostream is the diary of your life. You are absolutely beautiful inside and out. There is so much variety in your stream and I think that's one of the main reasons I love it so much. Don't stop taking photos because you are talented!

Mare, This testimonial is long overdue. For that I am truly sorry. Also, instead of writing about you, I would like to write this testimonial to you. These are things I want you to know, because you deserve that much. First off, I would like to say that you are absolutely one of the most inspiring people here on flickr. Your use of light and poses and expressions and locations absolutely make me want to cry, because they are so beautiful. I cannot begin to describe the way each and every one of your photos touches me, but I want you to know that they do, in so many, innumerable ways. The emotion you put into every single shot just absolutely blows me away, and I can feel everything you are feeling. It's impossible to put into logical words, really, but it's true. What most strikes me about you, Mare, is that, without saying a word, you can speak volumes about life, love, joy, and pain in ways that people would kill to be able to do. You are so incredibly lovely, inside and out, and people can see that in your pictures. They feel it. Please, please, please don't you ever doubt your beauty or your talent, because there is nothing about you that says you are not good enough, or not pretty enough, or not smart enough. Since writing that last pretty lame testamonial I've come to know Marion as a person and photographer so much better. I love her dearly and I don't usually like making friends online but I'm so glad that I found her because she's so similar to me and we really can talk. But that's personal anyway and this is supposed to be a tribute to her photography.. She's so creative and I love seeing her work because her perseverance and constant creativity amazes me. I love photography, but I don't think that I could ever find that much immense talent to be able to come up with good ideas so frequently. I love love love this girl to death! :)

i no longer call mare, mare. i call her ginger rogers. because she is my ginger. this summer i've really gotten to know mare. quite a while back i discovered a very prolific stream (and to me prolific can often mean sloppy and nonperfection, luckily that is not the case for her!) and truly fell in love with her self portrait work and all the rest. after several chats, we found true friendship in one another. i know that even though she is so far away i can count on anything from her. especially a good laugh. i cannot count a single conversation we've had without actually dying of laughter. (meanwhile, part of me wishes this testimonial could be video form because i could demonstrate how i make fun of all of mare's photos :) -- she knows she loves it when i do that :) anyway, what i'm ultimately trying to get at, is that she is a crazy child loon that i love dearly and that i really need to thank her for being one of the greatest inspirations to my photography right now and she always will (and heck, she inspires the rest of my life too). and at the end of the day, there's only one person that i can count on to eat a full 22 oz steak in front of me at midnight.
