ESPAÑOL: Hola a todos!!!! Mi nombre es Gerardo Páez, pero todo el mundo me conoce como Tito. Soy de La Plata (Argentina) y de profesión Geólogo, lo que me ha permitido recorrer muchos lugares con mi cámara y tomar muchas fotografías.

 

Alguna vez leí por ahí que "La mejor cámara con los mejores objetivos del mundo es la suma de nuestros ojos con el cerebro, y el software que utiliza se llama imaginación..." y me parece una gran verdad! A pesar de eso, en este espacio trataré de compartir con ustedes mi visión "a través de la lente" de la naturaleza y el paisaje que nos rodea.

 

Heredé el gusto por la fotografía de mi abuelo paterno desde bastante chico, y desde entonces ha sido para mi un hobby muy gratificante. Mis primeras fotos las tome con una Agfa Ambi Silette (la de mi abuelo, modelo 1960...) y a lo largo de los años he tenido varias cámaras de distintos modelos y marcas.

ENGLISH: Hi everyone!! My name is Gerardo Páez, but everyone knows me as Tito. I'm from La Plata (Argentina) and Geologist by profession, which has allowed me to travel to many places with my camera and take lots of pictures.

 

Once I read that: "The best camera, with the best lenses of the world is the sum of our eyes and brains, and the software that uses is called imagination..." and I think a great truth! Nevertheless, in this space I will try to share with you my vision "through the lens" of nature and the landscape around us.

 

I inherited the taste for photograph of my paternal grandfather since I was a child, and since then it has been a very rewarding hobby. My first photos were taken with a Agfa Ambi Silette (my grandfather's camera, a 1960 model) and over the years I have had several cameras of different brands and models.
